Interior Design/ Renovation for 650 Square Foot Coffee Shop
Description
Klar and Klar Architects and Interior Designers recently completed their renovation of The Sandpearl Resort’s Marketplace that served as a coffee shop and breakfast bar for hotel guests. Their goal was to transform the coffee shop into a multi-use space that serves coffee, breakfast, a juice bar, and converts to a wine and beer bar for cocktail events. The Sandpearl Resort wanted to bring a spa-like, tropical vibe into the coffee shop. Klar and Klar’s Design Team created custom wood detailing that brought the Marketplace to life. With its leaf-like wood wall design and soft blue tile mosaic, we were able to bring in the tropical/spa feel. In the face of the check-out counter we created a custom leaf-like inlay to add a special touch of tropical. With the main wood color being cherry, we were able to create a warm inviting place for guests. Along the perimeter we created a community table for guests to gather and socialize. With a custom shelving design, we were able to create a display area and breakfast serving space for grab-and-go guests.
